Tips for Organizing Your High Heel Wardrobe

Tips for Organizing Your High Heel Wardrobe

Are you running out of room for your growing shoe wardrobe? I know I am. My closet will not fit Many High Heel Shoe. I now have four hanging shoe bins for my shoes and that still isn’t enough. Soon I will need to dedicate an entire room in my house to the collection of my favorite high heels. I do wish that I had a walk-in closet to store my growing collection of high heels, but like many other folks out there who are in my “shoes”, I have to think up innovative ways for storage in my home.

I did find some really neat shoe storage gadgets (I’m the guru of gadgets). I’m a sucker for anything that makes my life easier and less complicated.

Here are the ones that I like:

I like the idea of shoe organizers that slide under the bed. Some of them have a see-through cover so you can just slide them out from under the bed and see right away what’s inside the container, plus they’re out the of-the way and out of sight.

Also, I have many pairs of High heel and right now they’re in one of those pop-up storage cubes, which are not the best storage solution because they get crumpled and make it impossible to see what you’ve got. I spend an invaluable amount of time rooting around until I’ve eventually found the pair of High heel I’m looking for. I like the shoe containers that store under the bed that have compartments and no cover so it’s all open and can lay your High heel in them sideways.

The spinning type closet organizer has 24 compartments for shoes and it looks like it would be easy to get to your shoes since you can spin it around and see the shoes from all sides. It also looks like it would hold up well.

My mother always told me while growing up, “there’s a place for everything and everything in its the place”. It was sage advice but now that I’m older I’ve accumulated a lot more stuff. Short of winning the lottery so I can afford a bigger house, I guess I’m stuck with coming up with new ideas and storage items.

I know that there are some shoes that I no longer wear that much and I could donate to charity but I like to keep them just in case I have an outfit that they would match up with really well. There are also some shoes that the soles or heels are starting to get worn, and my excuse for keeping them is that I can take them to a shoe repair shop.

I’m sure many of you out there have shoe storage ideas of your own. I think I’m going to work on a new, innovative invention of my own. It seems I always have the ideas in my head. Every time I see a new invention or gadget, I say to myself “I should have come up with that”. In my mind I already had but just didn’t set the idea to move. Oh someone else gets rich.
