With the common technical running shoe now costing almost $a hundred, we thought we would visit the discount stores and see what choices, if any, they provide to the serious runner. I’ve used water shoes quite a bit for that, but discover the cheap ones slip round and the insoles detach. My one grievance is that they’re fairly heavy, about the same weight as my C9 running shoes from Target. Skate sneakers are undoubtedly the closest mainstream various to a true minimal shoe.
The ROSA RP01 shoe within the photograph below has a 3cm platform, so the stem of the heel was made longer. If shoes weren’t required in most places, I’m sure we would go round barefoot extra often, resulting in more durable feet that wouldn’t have so many issues, even in urban areas.
